My journey in the salon industry began more than 20 years ago. Working on friends and family at an early age I was fascinated by their reactions as I was always able to bring out their best look with styling and color.

Seeing their joy, I became hooked and providing that joyful feeling became my new passion. Over the years, I developed a signature style in cutting, up styles, re-texturizing and coloring.

I benefited greatly from working in several privately owned salons where the atmosphere was always friendly and the focus was on continuing education to better meet our clients' needs. I have been very fortunate to work with great talents in wonderful collaborative environments.

Each day this profession brings great experiences with new clients. One of my favorite aspects of my "job" is that it truly doesn't get old or feel like work.

Over the years, many clients have asked which process do I prefer. What do I like doing most. That's always a difficult question as I'm normally more focused on what my clients need more than what I want.

That being said, I'm an artist, and nothing provides me as much of an outlet to evolve and be creative as color does. And I have found that nothing is more rewarding than coupling that creative expression with the wonderful opportunities when I can create inspiring wedding and special occasion styles.

My clients are like family and I enjoy the time I spend with each of them in the chair. I am always improving for my clients. Seeing them leaving the salon feeling confidant and beautiful is personally rewarding.

When you visit my chair, our time together is about more than a simple cut, color or style. It's about an experience that lasts long after you've left the salon. Or to put it another way: ” Everybody needs a little Hairapy”
